January 27, 2015

ATLANTA – Georgia Trend magazine announced Tuesday in its 2015 Power List edition that Bobby Cagle (BA '89, MSW '98), director of the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS), has been named as one of 83 "Notable Georgians" - those who are having a substantial impact on the state. The honor was bestowed upon all recipients at a luncheon in their honor at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in downtown Atlanta.

As DFCS director, Cagle leads an organization that provides child welfare and economic assistance programs serving 1 in 5 Georgians each year, administers a $1.2 billion budget, and oversees the work of more than 7,300 staff in 159 counties.
