ATLANTA - The Division of Family and Children Services recently named Andrea Tulloch as Regional Director for Region 14 in metro Atlanta.

Formerly the Regional Director for Region 13, which includes Clayton, Cobb and Gwinnett counties, Ms. Tulloch will move to Region 14, where she has served as Interim Director since March 2016. Region 14 includes DeKalb and Fulton counties.

Ms. Tulloch, who holds a juris doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University-Shepard Broad Law School as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration, is a Certified Family Mediator and a member of the Florida Bar with 17 years of experience as a trial lawyer. Her experience also includes serving with the Florida Department of Children and Families as Director of the Office of Child Welfare and as Regional Director for Children’s Legal Services.

Ms. Tulloch began her appointment as Regional Director for Region 14 on July 16.

DFCS is responsible for the investigation of reports of child abuse; recruitment of foster homes for abused and neglected children; issuance of SNAP, Medicaid, TANF and childcare assistance to low-income families; assistance for out-of-work parents to help them get back on their feet as well as multiple support services and programs to help families in need.
