Georgia Gateway
Georgia Gateway is an eligibility determination system for a number of social benefit programs, including Medical Assistance, Child Care and Parent Services (CAPS), the Supplemental Nutrititon Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting |

Georgia’s CPS Centralized Intake Communication Center takes reports 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. If you have an immediate emergency, please call 911 or your local police department. |

Child Abuse Registry | Anyone can request a free Self-Check by going to any Georgia Division of Family & Children Services office (https://dfcs.georgia.gov/locations) they will be required to present government issued identification: State ID, Military ID, Driver’s License or Passport. Results will be emailed to the requester within 10 business days. This is the only way under GA law to request a self-check. |

A Child Protective Service (CPS) Screening Request may be submitted by the following:
- Private or International Adoption Agency:
If an adoption petition has been filed with superior court: Submit the purpose of request on agency letterhead, and a copy of the court order which states there is a pending adoption
Submit Screening Request Form - Law Enforcement or CPS Investigators:
Submit the purpose of request on agency letterhead, along with a signed release of information for each individual to be screened
