The Family First Leadership Advisory Council, a group guiding Georgia's planning and implementation efforts for the Family First Prevention Services Act held its first meeting on May 21, 2020.

A description of the system context and national landscape; and

Discussion of the current status of Georgia's Family First planning.
Family First Program Director Shelby Zimmer spoke with the Council about Georgia’s phased approach to implementation planning including the technical implementation of prevention services and placement. She also explained the Family First Transition Act and Georgia’s plan for utilizing those funds and shared the draft candidacy definition for prevention services.
