Family First Staff Updates

Tiffany Bivins

With the transition of D’Arcy Robb from the interim Family First Program Director role effective July 30, 2022, I am pleased to announce that Tiffany Bivins has assumed this interim role as we continue to march forward with Family First implementation in Georgia. We look forward to working with Tiffany in this new capacity as she leads us into phase one implementation.

Tiffany has served on the Family First team since November 2019 and brings a tremendous body of education and experience to the team. Tiffany has a Bachelor of Arts, Sociology, from The Ohio State University and a Master of Education, Clinical Counseling, from the University of Dayton. Tiffany has 17+ years of child welfare experience in various roles – including as a caseworker and supervisor with Franklin County, Ohio, as well experience as a therapist and, prior to joining us, as a Social Services Director with the Bair Foundation, a private foster care services provider.

While our day-to-day work will progress, as planned, we will simultaneously undertake a recruitment process to identify and select our next permanent Family First Program Director. We ask that you partner with us and direct any potential candidates to this opportunity. The position has been approved and is posted to our jobsite, linked here.

Thanks for your partnership with making Family First a reality in Georgia. We are truly in this together!

- Mary Havick, Deputy Commissioner, Child Welfare
