Employer Eligibility Requirements

  • Georgia Secretary of State business status of Active/Compliant
  • Safe and clean environment
  • At least one available dedicated supervisor
  • Consistent access to working email, printer and telephone
  • Ability to provide meaningful work experience
  • Satisfactory Pre-Site Visit score

Employer Responsibilities
All employer partners will be expected to adhere to the following:

New Employer Partners

  • Attendance to at least one Employer Interest Meeting
  • Attendance to at least one Employer Orientation Meeting
  • Submission of a completed Memorandum of Understanding by the provided deadline
  • Conduct interviews
  • Create and maintain the intern's work schedule
  • Provide consistent and meaningful work experience
  • Actively communicate with an assigned an Employment & Training Specialist via email and phone
  • Submit weekly time sheets as well as incident reports as needed
