Georgia CREW (Cultivating the Rising Experienced Worker)

Program Overview

The Georgia Cultivating the Rising Experienced Worker (GA CREW) program provides valuable work readiness training and employment experiences for youth in Georgia’s foster care system.

Our vision is for all youth in foster care to acquire employment training and develop life skills that will increase their likelihood of success in careers, self-sufficiency, and adulthood.

The mission of the GA CREW Program is to provide youth in foster care, between the ages of 14-21 years old, with a youth-friendly environment where they can engage in a series of employment preparation services such as:

  • Career education and training, mentorship, and one-on-one coaching workshops
  • Opportunities for career connections between youth and employment partners
  • Career experiences including apprenticeships, internships, job shadowing opportunities, and volunteer placements
  • State identification assistance

Youth interested in participating must apply online, here. All youth, regardless of previous participation, MUST apply via the online application.
